Scholarships

The Elyria Catholic High School Endowment Fund is an important source of funding used to support the school in a variety of ways. The most common is providing financial assistance -- a scholarship -- to EC students. These funds can be named to honor or memorialize a family or an individual and exist in perpetuity, providing an ongoing source of support and enabling you to experience the impact of your philanthropy.

Named Fund Guidelines

• An initial gift of $10,000 is required to establish an endowed fund at Elyria Catholic.
• An endowed scholarship fund is considered fully funded at $280,000, the amount of principal required, at 5 percent earnings, to produce $14,000 each year which is the cost to educate a student at Elyria Catholic.
• Donations may be added to the principal of the scholarship at any time.
